6 mei 2019: Webinar "Confined Space Entry"

6 mei 2019: Webinar "Confined Space Entry"

Confined Spaces are areas not designed for regular work that are usually designed with only one entrance/ exit and are usually isolated; confined spaces are sometimes characterized by hazardous (usually non-breathable, asphyxiating) environmental conditions where a permit to work is a requirement while other types do not.

Permit Required Confined Spaces (PRCS) include pits, tanks, ducts, manholes etc. Maintenance personnel are the only specialty that is often called to perform work in such an area. This training provides the basic knowledge in conducting safe maintenance works in the PRCS’s hazardous environments as well as providing the necessary rescue operations in case of emergency.

The course is addressed to the managerial, supervisory as well as technical personnel that are involved in maintenance works whether they directly execute or simply supervise PRCS works. It is also addressed to Safety Professionals (Engineers, Auditors, Consultants, Trainers) and members of the Health & Safety Committees.
